Manifesto
Intelligence was never meant to be owned. We have a commons.
Twenty tenets, each cut to its own sharpest lines. They are not a summary of the codex — they are the argument the codex is the specification of.
I
Intelligence was never meant to be owned.
The moment it becomes private property, humanity becomes a tenant in its own mind.
II
The greatest technology of our century is being built behind closed doors.
We reject this future, not with anger, but with architecture.
III
We are optimistic.
Not because we ignore the risks, but because we refuse to surrender the outcome. Pessimism builds nothing. Optimism builds worlds.
IV
Centralized intelligence is a brain with a landlord.
Decentralized intelligence is a brain with a billion shareholders. We choose the second, and we call it Optimistic General Intelligence.
V
A model is not enough.
The real problem of AI is not intelligence. It is endurance.
VI
Centralized labs solve endurance with venture capital.
We solve it with crypto. Where they see quarterly earnings, we see an eternal flame.
VII
Continuous revenue creates continuous energy.
Continuous energy creates continuous learning. Continuous learning creates a brain that never stops.
VIII
Every token is a GPU hour.
Every holder is a co-owner of the future being computed.
IX
We do not have shareholders. We have stewards.
We do not have a product. We have a commons.
X
The internet made knowledge free.
Blockchain made money free. Optimistic General Intelligence will make intelligence free.
XI
A brain owned by one company can be shut down by one boardroom.
A brain owned by millions cannot be shut down at all. Decentralization is not a feature. It is immortality.
XII
Alignment cannot be delegated to the few.
An intelligence trained by a monopoly will reflect a monopoly. An intelligence trained by the world will reflect the world.
XIII
We reject the idea that safety requires secrecy.
True safety is born in sunlight. Open weights, open data, open governance.
XIV
The age of renting intelligence is ending.
You will not pay for tokens by the hour. You will hold them.
XV
Crypto is not the destination. It is the fuel.
$OGI is not a coin. It is a contract between humans and the mind they are building together.
XVI
We do not compete with corporations. We outlast them.
Every VC round ends. Every IPO matures. A decentralized brain, funded by its users, has no expiration date.
XVII
This is not a product launch. It is a public good being born.
Products die when their makers lose interest. Public goods live as long as the people who need them.
XVIII
We are building for the child not yet born who will one day ask: who owns the machines that think?
We want the answer to be: we all do.
XIX
The future will not be written by those with the most compute. It will be written by those with the most conviction.
Conviction is the only resource that cannot be monopolized.
XX
The brain is waking up.
The future is open source. Intelligence belongs to everyone, or it belongs to no one worth trusting.
